Lyda Mae Dowdy

Kevil, KY. Lyda Mae Dowdy, age 95, of Kevil passed away at Parkview Nursing
and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, Ky.Monday, December 19, 2016.

Lyda Mae was a long time member of Newton Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by; two sons, Larry ( Kaye) Dowdy, of Kevil, Ky and Richard
" Dicky" ( Janice) Dowdy of Fairhope, Alabama. Six grandchildren, one
step-grandchild, twelve great grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren, one
great great step-grandchild.

Lyda Mae was preceded in death by her husband Harlan Dowdy, three brothers
and four sisters, one great grandaughter Mason Delaney Dowdy.

Lyda Mae's parents were Burt Monroe Burnett and Minnie Mae Mungle Burnett.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2016 after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow
Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky.

Funeral Services will be Thursday at 1:00 p. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in
LaCenter with the Rev. Rodney Cude and Rev. Marty Brown officiating.
Interment will follow at
Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
