William Robert Noe

Paducah, KY William Robert "Bob" Noe passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center after a long battle with cancer. He was born January 20, 1944 in Knoxville, TN to his late parents, James W. and Connie Gibbs Noe.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann Noe of Paducah, KY; two sons, Bob Noe (Victoria) of West Paducah, KY and Donald Alexander Noe (Gena) of Indiana; two brothers, David Noe (Dianna) of Knoxville, TN and Rick Noe (Glenda) of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Ruth Walters of Knoxville, TN; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son, James Noe; three sisters, Mary, Jean, Brenda and his parents.

Bob was employed for 33 years and 11 months at several nuclear plants, which included Y12 and K25 both in Oakridge, TN and USEC in Paducah, KY. He retired after 15 years of employment at USEC. He was an Army veteran during the Vietnam Era and served as an Ordinance. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in LaCenter, KY. He was an avid fan of Tennessee basketball and football. Bob was an accomplished blacksmith.

Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church with Father Basilio officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
