West Paducah, KY Barton Record, age 96, passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. Barton retired from TVA after several years of service. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Bartons great passion in life was winning souls for Jesus. Barton is survived by two sons, Gary Record (Jayne) of Paducah, KY and Keith Record (Angie) of West Paducah. A daughter-in-law,LaDonn Record of Kevil. Seven grandchildren; Michael Record (Lisa), Aaron Record (Jennifer), Kristi Deecke (Ted), Tony Record (Donna), Ashlee Robertson (Shannon), Maggie Record, and Nick Record. Eighteen great grandchildren; Natalie and Andrew Record, Dorian and David Record, Autumn, Cadence and Emilee Ray, Parker Tilford (Amanda), Autumn and Braden Ivy, Taylor Griffin, Madison Griffin, Kaleb Robertson, Bryan Griffin, Drake Robertson, Brody Robertson, and Hunter and Haylee Record.One great great grandchild; Mabry Tilford. Barton Record was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Louise Record, his son Mike Record, a grandson Jason Record, one sister Norma Ross, and two brothers David and Joe Record. His parents were Elmer E. and Sylva Mae Record. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Morrow Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Morehead officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in West Paducah with Navy Military Rites.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund 9701 Blandville Road West Paducah, KY 42086.
