Carma Lee Chandler, 83, formerly of Princeton died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Parkview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
She was born in Union City, Tennessee May 27, 1935. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Princeton. She was active in church ministries as an outreach leader and in civic affairs in Princeton. She most recently served as a leader for a grief support group serving the community at large.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. Ray Jackson, Pastor of Marion Baptist Church at the time of his passing; by her second husband Mr. Leonard Chandler of Princeton; by a brother Dr. Don E. Cloys of Richmond; and by a son Kent Jackson of Greenbrier, TN.
Survivors include her son Brent Jackson (Lisa); grandchildren Dylan Jackson (Lindsey), Taylor Jackson and her beloved dog Bandit of Flower Mound, TX; brother Bill Cloys (Paula) of Ball Ground, GA; sisters Diane Cloys Landry of Perry, FL and Alice Cloys Cone of Piperton, TN.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 19 at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens Highway 51 N, Fulton, KY 42041 with Rev. Benny Chandler officiating. Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter is in charge of the arrangements.
