Darmeitrus Montrell Berry

Darmeitrus Montrell Berry or as some call Dee or Metrius was born March 26,1984 in Paducah, Ky to Julia Berry and Robert Jones. During the course of Darmeitrus’s life on Earth he was a member of Blandville Baptist church where he was pastored by the late Bro. Larry Jackson. Metrius attended Ballard County schools and later obtained his GED as a young adult. He is fondly remembered for his love of family and friends and willingness to protect those around him. He was a big football and basketball watcher being he would never admit that UK was better than Duke! Hobbies you would notice him doing were; riding motorcycles, playing video games, and spending time on the basketball court. Darmeitrus was an avid artist who loved to draw and write eloquent words with his beautiful penmanship. He was employed as a brick layer. On Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 34 Darmeitrus went to spend eternity with his paternal grandparents Robert Lee Fitts and Lucy Mae Mayes as well as his step-grandfather Will Mayes. Reunited with him also his maternal grandparents Charles E. Henderson, LeElla Berry, great- grandmother Nellie Mae Berry and God-Grandmother Dorothy Brewster-Heady. In addition to his devoted parents Robert and Julia of Wickliffe , Darmeitrus leaves behind one daughter A’laya Sincerr Ragsdale: One brother Patrick Caldwell(Anita), 3 sisters LaQuita Berry, Sharmika Berry, and Kataria Berry.He also leaves behind 6 nephews Desmond(Dee Dee), Maliek, Jakyen, Braylen, Dewayne and great-nephew Pheonix . 3 Nieces Kyrah, Maya, and Ariel. In addition he leaves a girlfriend Tiffany Cole as well as a host of Uncles, aunts, and cousins and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center, KY. Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
