Just learned about Freddie's death and will be thinking of the many who loved him. I remember well the day he was born. I had a nephew born in January, 1940 whose name was Freddie Allen. Then in August the little town of La Center boasted of two citizens named Freddie Allen! Every girl needs a brother, Peggy, and I am sure you have many memories. Janet, you are too young for widowhood but are blessed to have loved and been loved in return. I (as K.K.'s mom) still think of you as the high school kid! Remember the good times. So sorry for your passing Freddie. It has been a swing shift adventure in knowing you. You were an inspiration to many with your sincerity and love for all.
