George and his wife Maria and daughter Mariana owned and operated Mocanu Farm and sold vegetable, fruits, and flowers.
He was survived by one daughter Mariana Mocanu of West Paducah, KY. and a son in law Kyle Drysdale of West Paducah, KY. , two sisters Zinaida Ostafi of Romania and Anica Hrincu of Romania. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Maria and his parents Filip and Alexandra Mocanu.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery.
