Johnnie Arie Moss

Johnnie Arie Moss, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 21, 2018, at Baptist Health of Paducah. She was born on February 11, 1943, in Dawson Springs, to John Otis Melton and Ellie Rhea (Thomas) Melton. She was a 1962 graduate of Reidland High School. She married Douglas MacArthur Moss in 1964, in Brookport, Il. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Douglas Moss, of Kevil; her two children Dewayne Moss and Leigh Moss, of Kevil. Her brothers Mike (Diana) Melton of Paducah, Joe (Mary) Melton of Texas. Her sisters Debbie (Don) Lagrange of Many, Louisiana; Lynn (Lucian) Turner of Owensboro; Carolyn (Bill) Young of Kevil. Her four grandchildren Mathew Moss, Gabi Quintanilla, Zachary Moss, and Colson Moss, of Kevil. She is preceded in death by her parents. Johnnie will be remembered as a lovable soul, full of life and energy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Morrow Funeral Home in Kevil, Ky. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, with a service to follow with Brother Keith Tilford officiating. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to Norton Children’s Hospital.
