Juanita Cleo Allcock

BARLOW, KY: Juanita Cleo Allcock, age 98, of Barlow, KY passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Baptist Health Care of Paducah, Paducah, KY.

She was a member of The Meeting Room in Columbus, KY and attended First Baptist Church of Barlow most of her life. She was employed at Snores Manufacturing Plant in Cairo for twenty-five years.

Juanita was born near Columbus, KY on July 11, 1918. She was a daughter of Raymond and Pearl Caldwell. Juanita was married to Wilson Allcock, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Duane and Sonny Caldwell and sister, Aloha Wilson and her parents.

She is survived by one brother, Kenneth (Carolyn) Caldwell of Franklin, TN; one son, Michael (Ruth Ann) Allcock of Cape Girardeau, MO; one daughter, Pamela (Walter) Whinnery of Paducah; two grandsons, Darren (Nicole) Allcock of Cape Girardeau, and Walt Whinnery of San Diego, CA; two great grandsons, Luke and Matthew Allcock of Cape Girardeau; and many nephews and nieces.

A special acknowledgement and thank you goes to her cousin, Betty Huff, and her friends, Patty Rich and Janet Harper.

The warmth of her heart and dedication to God were evident throughout her life.

Visitation for Junaita Allcock will be Friday, November 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Scott Fickes officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery, Barlow, KY.
