Paducah, KY Rev. Donald D. Pippin,81 years old, surrounded by his loving family died Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 4:56 a.m. at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was born August 3, 1937. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jonnelle Pippin of Paducah, KY, two daughters; Donette Van Cleve (John) of White Bluff, Tn, and Amy King (Larry) of Bardwell, KY. One sister Suzanne Lovelace of Paducah, KY. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Brother Don was a member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. He pastored several churches throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan and Indiana for over 55 years. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and UK Basketball fan . He loved to squirrel hunt. He was a great historian and kept scrapbooks from the very beginning of his ministry. He loved to work puzzles. He was preceded in death by one son Stanley Dean Pippin, two brothers Billy Pippin and David Griffin and his parents Lewis and Annie Griffin Pippin. Visitation will be at Lone Oak First Baptist Church on Friday, December 21, 2018 after 10:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m. at Lone Oak First Baptist Church with DR. Dan Summerlin and Dr. Jeff Wallace officiating. Interment will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Gideons International P.O. Box 10 Kevil, KY.
