Rosalie O'Byrne

Rosalie Berry O'Byrne, 92, died Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was a graduate of Ballard County High School and attended Paducah Jr. College. She was employed at Union Carbide in accounting and Rust Engineering Company as an office manager. A lifelong Methodist, Rosalie was a member of Memorial Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O'Byrne; her son, William Berry Chandler; and her parents, Ila and Chester Berry. She is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Benton of Elizabethtown; three nieces, Claudette Giles of Barlow, Glenda Sue Hodges of Kevil, and Cindy Thompson of Colorado; and a nephew, Richard Thompson of La Center. Graveside services will be Friday, August 10th at 11 a.m. at La Center City Cemetery in La Center, Kentucky. Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and Morrow Funeral Chapel in La Center are in charge of arrangements.
