Roxie Elenora Sanders

LaCenter, KY. Roxie Elenora Sanders, age 89, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at her son's home in Paducah, KY. She was born March 3, 1927 to Robert and Loraine Giles.

She was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church and Ballard County Homemakers. She owned and operated Our House Gallary and Gifts in LaCenter for several years. She also owned B & R Ceramics in Wickliffe for several years. She loved crafts and was gifted in art. She painted and drew several pictures and various articles.

She is survived by one son, Wayne Sanders (Mary) of Paducah; two daughters, Donnalee (David) Jaynes of St. Petersburg, FL, and Sueanne (Ellis) Harris of Brookport, IL; three sisters, Faithie Duffy of Terrell, TX, Janet Price of Terrell, TX and Phyllis Golightly of East Prarie, MO; eight grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and several neices, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy O Sanders; one son, David E. Sanders; four brothers, Johnny Giles, Bobby Giles, Donald Giles and Ronnie Giles; one great great granddaughter and her parents, Robert and Loraine Giles.

Funeral services for Roxie Elenora Sanders will be Wednesday, May 25 at 11 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter with Dr. Calvin Bryant and Rev. Don Pippin officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24 beginning at 5 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel.
