Sally Dixon Cooper

BOWLING GREEN, KY: Sally Dixon Cooper, age 72, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 1:58 p.m. at Medical Center of Bowling Green, Bowling Green, KY surrounded by her family. She was born August 18, 1945 to Benny Haas Cooper and Vivian Herring Cooper.

She attended Rich Pond Baptist Church in Bowling Green, KY. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spiritedly debating politics. She was totally dedicated to her family, devoting as much time as possible to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by three daughters, Kelli (Jim) Walk of Pittsburgh, PA, Leigh Ann (Darrell) Mathis of Bowling Green, KY, and Kathryn (Matt) Eidson of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Katie (Joe) Huckaby of Bowling Green, KY, Colby Sanderson of San Jose, CA. Rylee Walk of Pittsburg, PA, and Doug (Chasity) Walker of McDonough, GA; three great grandchildren, Joseph Walker, Ashley Huckaby, and Cooper Huckaby; two sisters, Mildred Duley and Susie Murray; and three brothers, Dick Cooper, Danny Cooper, and Charles (Shorty) Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benny Haas Cooper and Vivian Herring Cooper; her first husband, Frank Eidson and her second husband, Charlie Allred; one sister, Ann Weir; and three brothers, Bill cooper, Bob Cooper and Joe Cooper.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Todd Cooper, Sally's nephew, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Oscar Cemetery in Oscar, KY.
