Marion "Mae" Buckley

KEVIL, KY Marion "Mae" Buckley, age 87, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at 12:30 A.M. at Life Care Center of LaCenter. She was born November 27, 1926 to Silas and Cathleen Wright Moore. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

Mae was a member of Kevil First Baptist Church and a long time member of Kevil Homemakers.

She is survived by two sons; Mike Buckley (Becky) of LaCenter and Kerry Buckley (Lynn) of Gadsden, AL; four grandchildren, Brooke Buckley of Erlanger, KY, Wade Buckley of Grove Town GA, Lee Taylor Buckley of Fairfax, VA. and Madison Buckley of Gadsden, AL; and one sister, Karen Floyd of Madison, OH.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Fred Buckley, her parents, Silas and Cathleen Moore, and one sister, Jane Pointer.

Visitation for Mae Buckley will be Monday, January 16, 2017, from 10 A.M. to Noon at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Funeral services will follow at 12 P.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter with the Rev. Stewart Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Woodville Cemetery in Kevil, KY.
