Obituary

Barlow, KY Alice Faye Webb, age 74, passed away at her home, Monday evening, October 25, 2021.

Faye was born on March 10, 1947 to her parents, L.M. and Dorothy Batts. She was a member of Barlow First Baptist Church. Faye enjoyed reading and loved to design and sew quilts. In the fall she enjoyed picking up pecans and loved canning vegetables. Faye loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she adored.

She is survived by her son, Michael Jay Webb and his wife Deborah of Barlow, KY; her daughter, Cynthia Ann Shankle and her husband Scott of Barlow, KY; four grandchildren, Megan Cook, Haley Ann Gustavison, Lydia Donnigan and Nathan Webb; four great grandchildren; six sisters, Jane Polivick and her husband Jimmy of Wickliffe, KY, Linda Kerley and her husband Mike of Wickliffe, KY, Rita Renfrow and her husband Jerry of Barlow, KY, Nita Hodge of Cadiz, KY, Glenda Batts of Barlow, KY and Vianne Menser of Bandana, KY.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband, James Webb; three brothers, Wayne Batts, Donnie Batts and her twin brother Letcher Ray Batts; her parents.

Visitation for Faye will be held Friday, October 29, 2021 from 5 -8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Morrow Funeral Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Tim Batts officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
