Obituary

Barlow, Ky. Anthony (Tony) L. Newton died Sunday, November 29, at 11:49 a.m. at his Cabin at Axe Lake. Tony was an avid hunter and fisherman, He loved Axe Lake, he was a great mentor to others interested in hunting and fishing. He was also a great Sports Fan. Tony was a member of Lovelaceville Baptist Church. He owned a printing company. Tony had a great sense of humor, and adored his son Cody. He is survived by his son, Cody Newton of Kevil, Ky. his Mother, Faye Smith and her husband, Charlie of Kevil, his Father, Jerry L. Newton of LaCenter, Ky. and His Paternal Grandmother, Roberta Newton Payne of LaCenter, Ky. Tony was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Aline and Howard Tilford, his Grandfather, Robert D. (Bus) Newton and Great Grandmother, Cora Newton ( Mama Cora.). Visitation will be Wednesday after 11:30 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Kevin Denton and Rev. Mark Sickling officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
