Jackson, TN. Betty Lou Stewart, age 87, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Betty is survived by her husband of 61 years James Stewart of Jackson, TN., One daughter Regina Wagner and her husband Rusty of Carlisle, Penn. Eight grandchildren Brandon, Joshua, Christina, Wesley, Laura, Holly, Rebecca, and Rachel Twelve great grandchildren Marina, Abigail, Jossalyn, Lydia, Kyra, Austin, Jon Michael, Kylie, Luna, Alayna, Evelynn and Beau. One great great grandson Rylan. Betty was a member of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN. She was born and grew up in Ballard County, KY. She loved to travel and work with ceramics. She loved to play tennis, bowl, and golf. She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Mattie Lee Simmons, three brothers, Billy Joe Simmons, Ishmael Simmons and Clifton Simmons. Two sisters Dorothy Jean Wild and Katherine Steilberg. Visitation will be Sunday after 12:30 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Brother Jerry Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
