Kevil, KY. Billy Q. Elrod. age 85, died July 28, 2016 at 6:35 p.m. at his home in Kevil KY. Billy was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He farmed for several years in Ballard County. Billy retired from Teleservice after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Shirley Jean Elrod of Kevil, KY., two sons Billy Glenn Elrod of LaCenter, KY., and Keith Wayne Elrod of Kevil, KY. Two daughters Linda Kay Oatsvall of Grahamville, KY. and Crystal Estes of Kevil, KY. Two brothers Donnie Elrod of Florida and Gary Elrod of Chicago, Illinois., Three sisters Inez Edwards of LaCenter, KY., Joanna Burnley of Barlow, KY. and Martha Talamantes of Barlow, KY. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Billy was preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and his parents Gilbert and Marion Elrod. There will be no services.
