Kevil, KY- Billy Don Jerrell was born on October 20, 1937 to R.Y. and Odie Mae Jerrell in Ballard County, KY.

Billy Don went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. with his loving family by his side. Billy Don and Ida Mae like to travel and they visited all 50 states, Mexico and Canada. He also loved to fish and looked forward to meeting his son in Florida for their annual fishing trips. He loved UK basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Billy Don was a 58 year member of the North Ballard Masonic Lodge #537. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Billy Don loved spending time with his family; his grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. Billy Don was a teamster and farmer. He was known for sharing his sweet potatoes and vegetables that he had grown with his neighbors, friends and family. He could be found daily riding his ranger back and forth from the family farm where he was raised.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ida Mae Jessup Jerrell; one son, Monty Jerrell (Olivia) of Quitman, GA; one daughter, Jennifer Jerrell McCallon of Metropolis, IL; three granddaughters, Ashley Woods (Larry) of Lawton, OK, Brittany Mayo (Justin) of LaCenter, KY and Meagan Morris (Clint) of Guyton, GA; four great granddaughters and two great grandsons.

Billy Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Janda Jerrell; his parents and his brother, Overn Jerrell.

Visitation will be held at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY Wednesday, January 11, 2023 after 11:00 a.m.

Funeral will be held at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating.

Masonic Rites will begin at 12:30 p.m.
