Barlow, KY Bob Russell Dennis, age 74, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Barlow, KY where he served as a Deacon for many years. He also served as a Deacon at First General Baptist Church for several years. He was a member of Local Iron Workers Union # 782 for 25 years. Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Dennis of Barlow, KY, his mother, Catherine Dennis of LaCenter, KY, two sons Robert Dennis and his wife, Lesley of Silver Spring, Maryland, and Mark Dennis of Barlow, KY; one daughter Leslie King and her husband, Todd of Wickliffe, KY; two sisters, Janet Trevathan of Barlow, KY and Georgia Bean of Barlow, KY; seven grandchildren, Haley Dennis of Boston, Massachusetts, Ethan Dennis of Silver Spring, Maryland, Zachary Dennis of Silver Spring, Maryland, Justin King of Wickliffe, KY, Grayson King of Wickliffe, KY, Kyler Dennis of Wickliffe, KY, and Melanie Dennis of Paducah, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, John Dennis and his brother, Dick Dennis. Visitation will be Monday evening after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Scott Fickes officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
