LaCenter, KY Calvin Earl Pearson, age 72 of New Florence, Missouri passed away at his home Sunday, June 12, 2022.

He was born March 22, 1950 in Cairo, Illinois to his parents, Tommy and Elizabeth Walls Pearson. Calvin was employed as an over the road truck driver for over 30 years and the last company he worked for was J.B. Hunt. He grew up and lived in Ballard County for several years, where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Calvin enjoyed Nascar Races and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play. He loved old cars, hot rods and dragsters.

Calvin is survived by his wife, Georgia Pearson of New Florence, Mo; two sons, Scott Pearson (Vickie) of LaCenter, KY and Steve Pearson (Brandy) of Wickliffe, KY; two stepsons, Mike Nelson III ( Laura) of Montgomery, Mo and Donnie Nelson (Beth) of New Florence, Mo; a stepdaughter, LoAnn Rayburn of New Florence, Mo; a sister-in-law, Katherine Rayburn of New Florence, Mo; four brothers, Phillip Pearson (Patricia) of Oscar, KY, Gary Pearson (Marie) of Barlow, KY, Raydell Pearson (Claudette) of Little Rock, Arkansas and Bobby Pearson of Barlow, KY; one sister, Bertha Mae Hurley of Savannah, TN; seven grandchildren, Skyler Pearson, Carra Pearson, Kaitlin Nelson, Matthew Nelson, Ethan Nelson, Sierra Gessman and Little Mike Nelson IV; his fur babies, Maggie, Katie and Mia; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by four brothers, George Pearson, Gene Pearson, Charles Thomas Pearson and Oliver Pearson; three sisters, Ethyl Lee Myatt, Edith Jones and Phyliss Pearson; infant son, Michael Earl Pearson; his parents and his fur baby Dakota.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
