Kevil, KY. Carl Lee Bass, age 87, died Friday morning at 5:55 a.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. He was a member of Resurrection Fellowship Church. He was a dairy farmer. Carl is survived by five sons, Mike Bass of Bandana, KY., Steve Bass of Paducah, KY., James Bass of Ragland, KY., Gary Bass of Bandana, KY., and Roy Humphries of Smithland, KY. Five daughters Debbie Vinson of Kevil, Ky., Betty Garrett of LaCenter, KY., Linda Waters of Paducah, KY., Judy McCoy of Herrin, Illinois, and Marilyn Sanders of Galesburg, Illinois. Twenty six grandchildren, fourty nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Bass, one son Timmy Bass, one daughter Carla Bass and three brothers. Visitation will be Sunday after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter. KY. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. with the Rev. Richard Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Tyners Chapel Cemetery.
