Barlow, KY, Carl Dean Newton, age 84, of Barlow, KY died Thursday evening at his home. Carl was an Army Veteran and he had been employed at Good Year and Haygood Oil for many Years. He loved to fish and was a proud UK Basketball fan. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Loretta Newton of Barlow. Two sons Mike Newton of Barlow and Jay Newton of Kevil KY. One daughter Gayle Newton Green of Murray, KY. Eight grandchildren and one great Granddaughter. Carl was preceded in death by one son Jeff Newton, two brothers and his parents Willis and Otis Jamison Newton. Visitation will be Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until funeral time at 4:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Ryan Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
