LaCenter, KY, Catherine Smith, age 95, died at Life Care Center of LaCenter at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday Evening. Catherine had been a member at New Liberty Baptist Church for 82 years. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She is survived by two daughters Janet Trevathan of Barlow, KY., and Georgia Bean from Barlow, KY. One stepdaughter Gloria Newcomb of Michigan City, Michigan. Ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and five step grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by her three husbands, John T. Dennis, Roy King and Q.L. Smith, two sons Bob R. Dennis and William R. Dennis, two brothers, one step son Adrian King, one step great grandson, and her parents Will and Cora Phipps. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00 a.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church with the Rev. Ryan Hedrick officiating. Interment will follow at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
