Barlow, KY Charlene Birney Edwards Myers, age 81 passed away Monday Evening, May 15, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at Clinton Place Skilled Nursing Care at Clinton, KY. Charlene was a member of Barlow First Baptist Church for 56 years, a member of Hazelwood Lodge Eastern Star, and served as School Secretary of Ballard Memorial High School and Ballard Middle Schools for over 30 years. Surviving Charlene are her son, Bill Edwards and his wife Karen of LaCentrer, KY; her grandson Clay Scott Edwards of Nashville, TN, one brother William Birney and his wife Peggy of LaCenter, KY. Two nephews, Brandon and Casey Birney and their families. She was preceded in death by her first husband Billy Edwards, her second husband Bobby Myers and a niece. Her parents were Charles and Adelene Tanner Birney. Visitation will be Wednesday Evening from 5-7 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Scott Fickes and the Rev. Jamie Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
