LaCenter, KY Alice Charlene Shaw, age 84 died at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 7:03 p.m. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Elye Shaw of LaCenter, KY, one son Stephen Shaw and his wife Laura of Paducah, KY, One daughter Sabrina Miles and her husband Mike of LaCenter, KY. Four grandchildren; Zachary Shaw, Mary Virginia Shaw, Gabriel Shaw, and Lucas Miles. Nine great grandchildren; Kendall Shaw, Peyton Shaw, Bella Shaw, Bristol Shaw, Landon Willett, Anna Grace Schultz, Aiden Miles, Deshae Ann Cooper and Davis Bennett Shaw. She was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She won the Mid America Ballroom Dance Championchip. Charlene also taught ballroom dancing at the Jack Lloyd Studio in Paducah. She was a member of Ballard County Junior Women's Club. . Charlene was preceded in death by her parents; Marvin Arvel and Dollie Mae Howle Compton. Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter With the Rev. Drew Gray and Rev. Bud Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
