LaCenter, KY Howard Graves, age 92, died Tuesday evening, November 12, 2019 at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. Howard and his brother J.T. Graves founded Graves Brothers Plumbing in the early 50's. After the business was sold, He established Howard Graves Plumbing, which continued until his retirement. During this time he also worked for the City of LaCenter. He was the water/sewage maintenance supervisor for over 20 years. He is survived by one son; Joseph Graves of LaCenter, two daughters; Lana Chandler (Larry)of LaCenter and Beverly Eastman(Eric)of Bay Shore, New York. One stepson Jeff Haynes (Wendy)of Barlow, Ky, one stepdaughter; Debbie Vonweiland (John),One brother Dewey Graves of Florida and one sister Shirley Vaughn of Goodlettsville, TN. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by his wife Lexine. Three brothers; Maurice Graves, J.T. Graves and Bennie Graves. One sister Ruby Gains. His parents were Jim and Mina (Thomas) Graves. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at LaCenter Cemetery. Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter is handling arrangements.
