LaCenter, KY Cheryl Garrett, age 57, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

She was a member of House of Prayer Church. Her passion was music, she had a beautiful voice and sang with Johnny Cash and she also sang at the Grand Old Opry. Cheryl was a very caring person and loved her family, especially her mama, son, daughter in law and her dog Maggie. Cheryl was very spirited, and was beautiful inside and out.

Cheryl is survived by a son, Blake Garrett and his wife Evelyn of LaCenter, KY; two brothers, Billy Dale Crabtree and his wife Gail of Kevil, KY and James Crabtree and his wife Harriett of LaCenter, KY; three sisters, Marilyn Harrell and her husband Dale of LaCenter, KY, Donna Jean Steele and her husband Donald of Kevil, KY and Suzanne Hall (Poochie) and Glenn Spears of Kevil, KY; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; her life long best friend, Kim Clark of West Paducah; her grand puppy, Diesel and her dog Maggie.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Francis Evelyn Crabtree.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY from 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Morrow Funeral Chapel at 4:00 pm with Rev. Billy Dale Crabtree and Rev. Dale Harrell officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
