Walled Lake — Cindy Ross, 65, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Commerce Township, Michigan.

Born on July 12, 1959, Cindy was a woman of creativity and passion. As the former owner of Button and Bows Doll Shop in Walled Lake, Michigan, she found immense joy sharing her love for porcelain doll making. Through teaching classes, she nurtured the artistic spirits of many, leaving behind a legacy of craftsmanship and dedication that will be remembered by those who learned from her.

Cindy embraced life with a vibrant spirit. She had an adventurous soul that led her to explore new places through travel. Fishing brought her serenity, while shopping and crafting allowed her to express her boundless creativity. Sewing was another cherished pastime, as she delighted in creating beautiful pieces with her hands. A lover of bluegrass music, she often found solace in melodies that resonated with her heart. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family and loved ones, filling their lives with warmth and unforgettable memories.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Ross; nieces Heather Oldford and April Crabtree; great-nieces Rachel Oldford and Avery Rose Old ford; great-aunt Ginger Henson; cousins Herbert Hendrickson Jr. and Ramona Beyer; and her beloved canine companion, Roxie. Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Rickie Dean Crab tree; parents, Leslie Earl Crabtree and Phyllis Crabtree; paternal grandparents, Leslie and Edna Earl Crabtree; maternal grandparents, Hayden and Ruthie Jane Barnhill Hendrickson; Cousin Ria DeGaine; and several cherished pets—Muffy, Sparky, Sammy, Mollie, Scooter, and Zoey—who brought her endless joy throughout the years.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday March 29, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel, located at 376 W. Kentucky Dr., LaCenter with Herbert Hendrickson Jr. officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the funeral starting at 12:00 PM.

Cindy's adventurous spirit and artistic soul will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to all whose lives she touched.
