Bandana, KY Clara Mae Kilby, age 77, passed away at her home Wednesday, February 1, 2023.

She was born to her parents, Raymond and Bessie Singleton Graves on November 16, 1945 in McCracken County. Clara along with her husband David, owned and operated Bandana Hardware for twenty years. It was a meeting place for many local people who enjoyed great fellowship. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Clara adored her family, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, David Kilby of Bandana, KY; one daughter, Danna Kilby of Hanson, KY; a granddaughter, Emily Compton of Louisville, KY; a brother, Jackie Earl Graves (Frances) of Bandana; sister in law, Marilyn Kilby of LaCenter, KY; brother in law, Don Kilby (Shirley) of Calvert City, KY.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, and brother in law William Kilby.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be Saturday February 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Kevin Barkley officiating.

Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family requests those attending would wear a mask.
