Kevil KY Don Armstrong, age 77, died Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:03 p.m. at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He farmed for several years. He was employed in maintenance and drove the school bus for Ballard County Board of Education for 20 years. He was employed at Wal-Mart for 21 years. He loved his family. He raced harness horses for 12 years. Don is survived by his wife of 57 years Mary Catherine Stafford Armstrong of Kevil KY. One son, Stanley Armstrong and his wife Annette of LaCenter, KY. Two daughters Leigh Ann Green and her husband Kevin of LaCenter, KY and Karen Armstrong of Kevil, KY. Six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother Fred Wilson Armstrong his parents Fredrick and Lillian Armstrong, and twin grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, with Rev. Matt Thomas officiating.  There will be a private burial Wednesday morning.
