BARLOW, KY: Dorothy Nell Blankenship, age 84, died Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Baptist Health of Paducah. She was a member of Barlow General Baptist Church and a ladies aid at the church. She is survived by her husband, Harvey Teems of Barlow; three sons, James Blankenship, Leslie Blankenship and Ricky Blankenship all of Barlow; three daughters, Freda Johnston of Barlow, Sharon Wilson of Barlow, and Helen Blankenship of Wickliffe; one brother, James Norment of Smithland, KY; three sisters, Bobby Sullivan of Wickliffe, Laverne Curtis of Atlanta, GA, and Ruby Smith of Florida; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Blankenship; one daughter, Della Johnson, and her parents, James and Zula Parker Crews Norment. Visitation for Dorothy Blankenship is at 10:00 A.M. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Funeral Service is at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Nick Bradford officiating.
