Kevil, KY Dorothy Lindsey Jenkins passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. She was born October 1, 1925 in Kevil, KY to her parents, James Edward and Lesie Pearl Stigall Lindsey.

Dorothy retired after 32 years of service at C-Plant Credit Union. She was a member of Clara Hendricks Order of the Eastern Star. Dorothy was the second oldest member of Kevil First Baptist Church. She was a member of WMU and nursery worker in her church for 40 years. Dorothy loved her family and loved to spend time with them.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Jenkins (Suezee) of Kevil, KY; a daughter, Becky Nicol (Steve) of Kevil, KY; three grandchildren, Michael Jenkins, Chris Jenkins (Sarah) and Lindsey Nicol (Frank); four great grandchildren, Scott Jenkins (Sydney) , Ethan Jenkins, Eli Jenkins and Annie Jade Hamilton; two great great grandchildren, Marshall Jenkins and Dorothy Anne Jenkins; a neice, Kathy Lindsey Warren and nephew, Bill Ed LIndsey.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Forest "Tom" Jenkins; two brothers, Ralph W. Lindsey and Jack Lindsey; a sister, Jettye Barclay and her parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in Kevil, KY with Rev. Duane Holland officiating. Interment will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
