LaCenter,KY Dorothy Knight, age, 92, died on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 12:50 p.m. at Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter, KY. She loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed upholstering furniture. She loved to watch birds especially Martins and Hummingbirds. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters; Susan Minton of Columbia, KY and Denise Knight of Kevil, KY. One brother Kenneth Myatt of Marion, KY, two sisters Carolyn DeGroot of Knoxville, TN and Hazel Wurth of Boaz, KY. Three grandchildren; Matt (Michelle) Minton of Sweeden, KY, Brandon (MacKenzie) Minton of Columbia, KY, and Kaleena Dowdy of Kevil, KY. Five great grandchildren; Jaxon, Branson, Bryson, Collyn, and Keaton. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Knight of 68 years, two brothers Jessie Myatt and Jimmy Myatt and Three sisters Beulah Peyton, Merle Boulton and Mary Taylor. Her parents were James and Janie Mae Louise Romain Myatt. Visitation will be Friday evening after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev.Brian Steward officiating. Interment will follow at Barlow Cemetery.
