Monkeys Eyebrow, Ky. Dorothy Toombs, age 89, died at 3:24 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Baptist Health in Paducah, Ky. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Dorothy had been a resident at Life Care Center in LaCenter, Ky. She was a devoted, and loving Christian mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy was a wonderful cook and a true friend. She is survived by one son, Ronnie Toombs and his wife June Ann from Barlow, Ky., one daughter, Trudy McCutchen and her husband Lynn of Paducah, Ky. Six grandchildren, Rory Toombs and his wife Jenna, Ryan Toombs and his wife Erin, Kacy Clanahan and her husband Chance, Clint McCutchen, Caleb McCutchen and his fiance' Ashley, and Colin McCutchen. Five great grandchildren Rowan Toombs, Walker Toombs, Easten Clanahan, Henry Clanahan and Paxton McCutchen. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband J.P. Toombs, two sisters Gertrude Smith, Mildred Hatler, and four brothers, Edward Hatler, Vernon Hatler, Wilson Hatler, and George Albert Hatler. Her parents were Dillard and Nora Barnhill Hatler. Funeral Services will be Monday, March 14, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. with the Rev. Tim Smith and Rev. Don Pippin officiating. Interment will follow at Oscar Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday Evening after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Gideons International P.O.
