LaCenter, KY. Ellen W. Pace, age 94, died on Sunday morning at at 1:15 a.m. at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah Ellen retired from Pace Insurance after 40 years. She and her husband were charter members of the Ballard County Country Club. She was a member of Methodist Women. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. . Ellen was an avid golfer and loved to play bridge. Ellen loved to cook and take care of everybody. She is survived by three sons; Mike Pace ( Marie) of LaCenter, KY., Larry Pace of LaCenter, KY., and Jerry Pace ( Ellen) of Barlow, KY. One brother; Charles Welborn of Colfax, North Carolina. Six grandchildren; Robbie Pace of Benton, KY., Corey Pace of LaCenter, KY., Lorie Taylor of Hendersonville, Tn., Phillip Pace of Wickliffe, Jessica Pace of Nashville, Tn., and Marianne Perkins of Paducah, Ky. Seven great grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Pace III., her parents Pendleton and Hattie Welborn, one brother and two sisters. Visitation will be Tuesday evening after 5:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. with the Rev. Susan Engle officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
