BANDANA, KY: Emily Throgmorton, age 92, of Bandana, KY passed away at 7:40 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Life Care in LaCenter, KY. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two children, Sonny Throgmorton and wife Donna of Bandana and Nancy Henson and husband Billy of West Paducah; six grandchildren: Kandy Travis, Susan Ford, Todd Throgmorton, Kara Turner, Christy Walsh, and Kimberly Nall; 15 great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Hoover Armstrong; and two nieces, Denise Orso and Elise Armstrong. Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Throgmorton; two children, Frances Lee and Glen Edward Throgmorton; her parents Gaither and Arcie Grief; and one sister Lavelle Armstrong. Visitation will be Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, January 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Needmore Cemetery, Bandana, KY.
