West Paducah, KY, Eva Faye Alexander, age 84, passed on April 16, 2025, at Baptist Health. She was born on September 22, 1940, to her late parents, Charlie Ray Bishop and Nellie Forrester.

Eva was a lifelong registered nurse when she retired from Baptist Health in 2008. She had a passion for caring for others. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling. Eva was a member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. Eva especially loved her dogs.

She is survived by one son, Greg Alexander of Metropolis, Illinois; one grandson, Michael Bass of West Paducah, KY; two granddaughters, Jody Walker of Paducah, KY and Paula Alexander of Memphis, TN; two brothers Kenny Bishop (Linda) of West Paducah, KY and Mark Bishop (Ann) of Paducah, KY; one sister, Carolyn Hardamen (Howard) of West Paducah, KY; and seven great grandchildren, Hunter Gainey, Hannah Gainey, Karli Beavers, Kira Alexander, Briley Bass, Gavin Scott and River Matlock.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband Paul Alexander; one daughter, Ginger Bass; son-in-law, Timmy Bass and her parents.

Visitation service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
