LaCenter, KY Evelyn Crabtree, age 90, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at her daughter's home.

She was born to her parents, Fred Ashley and Lillie Alma Moore Bromley May 16, 1931.

She was a member of House of Prayer Baptist Church and loved her church family. Her employment during her working years were Teleservice and Central Service. She retired after more than 30 years of service. Evelyn loved to quilt. Nothing made her happier than to have her whole family gathered together for a meal and having fun. Evelyn loved life and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by two sons, Dale Crabtree (Gail) of Kevil, KY, James (Harriett) Crabtree of LaCenter, KY; four daughters, Marilyn (Dale) Harrell of LaCenter, Donna (Donald) Steele of Kevil, Suzanne Hall (Glenn Spears) of Kevil, KY, and Cheryl Garrett of LaCenter, KY. Twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents , two sisters, Kathleen (Leonard) Bryant, Wilma (Clyde Ray) Smith; one brother, Winfred (Mutt) Bromley; one grandchild, Lewis Michael Lanier; one son in law, Gene Hall and a Niece, Diane Wiley.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Billy Crabtree and Rev. Dale Harrell officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

Visitation will begin 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral Chapel, January 5, 2022.
