LaCenter, KY Freddie Allen Dexter, age 77, died Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. Freddie was of the Baptist faith. He was employed as an operator at Wickliffe Paper Mill for 28 years and retired from Mead Westvaco. He was a member of the Ballard County Country Club. He was an avid golfer. Freddie was a UK fan and a St. Louis Cardinal fan. He is survived by his wife Janet Marie Compton Dexter of LaCenter, KY, one son Kent Allen Dexter of Venice, Florida, One daughter Pamela Gay Dexter Hammonds of Paducah, KY, one half brother Thomas Nichols Jr. of Bandana, KY, one sister Peggy Jo Dexter Sullivan of LaCenter, KY. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde E. Dexter and Gracie Marie Dexter Nichols. Visitation will be Monday after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev.
