LaCenter, KY, Geneva Griffin, age 102, gained her wings on March 13, 2019 at 7:45 p.m. in her children's home; Floyd and Lan Griffin of LaCenter, KY. Geneva Griffin, known as "June" lived a life of five generations. She played a role in each and everyone of her children, Grandchildren, and great grandchildren's lives. She was humble and wise and had a beautiful soul. She loved to work, shop, sew, cook, and spend time with her family. Many memories are loved cherished and loved by her family. She leaves to celebrate her homegoing; one son Floyd Griffin of LaCenter, KY and one daughter Mollie Ann Griffin of Cleveland, Ohio. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren. And a host Of other relatives and friends. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband; Bill Griffin, Parents; Robert and Ella Huery , four sons Trois Griffin, Paul Griffin, Hue Willard Griffin and Abe Gibbs. One brother Alfanzon Huery and one sister Model Newton. Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with the Rev. Rodney Hill Officiating. Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
