Gerry Dan Manning, age 64 of Kevil, passed away Thursday morning at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Thresa Gale Manning of Kevil, KY.  One daughter Amanda Scott (Mikel) of Kevil, KY and one son Daniel France (LeeAnn) of Kevil, KY.  Two brother Donald Manning of West Paducah, KY and Terry Manning of Kevil, KY.  Five grandchildren Lance, Emilee, DJ, Joshua, and Anslee.

Gerry was born in Paris, TN to Carse and Mildred Manning on October 13th.  Gerry and his twin brother Terry were the first set of twins born at the Henry County General Hospital.  Gerry was a 1973 graduate of Heath High School.  He worked as a machinist at Essex Wire.  He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mount Pleasant Church in Kevil.  He was a lifelong coon hunter and enjoyed sharing his love of coon hunting with his grandsons.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 23rd at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 23rd at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Wade Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carse Manning and Mildred Overcast Manning and seven brothers: Gene Manning, Veltman Manning, Max Manning,Glenn Manning, Robert Manning, Hal Manning and Kenny Manning.
