LaCenter, Ky. Gordon Watwood, age 78, died at Life Care Center in LaCenter Thursday morning at 5:50 a.m. He was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church. Gordon reitred from TVA as a Foreman. He was an Air Force Veteran. He is survived by one son Kenneth Watwood of Jackson, Missouri, one adopted son Dale Watwood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one adopted daughter Melinda Wall of Del City, Oklahoma.Two Step-sons Richard Purcell of Cunningham, KY. and Larry Purcell of Raliegh, North Carolina. One sister Nancy Dilworth of Barlow, KY, one brother, Donald Watwood of LaCenter, KY; Six Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Watwood, one brother, Ronald Watwood and his parents, Batts and Eddie Mae Watwood. Visitation will be Saturday Evening from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, Ky. Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with the Dr. Larry Purcell officiating.
