Kevil, Ky. Gregory Gene White, age 55, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday at Lourdes Hospital. As a teenager, Greg was employed at Jimmy's Market in West Paducah, and later began his employment at Gerdau Ameristeel Company for 32 years. He attended Spring Bayou Baptist Church for several years where he served as a Deacon, a member of the choir and an active volunteer in the children's ministry. Gregory was a member of Local Steel Workers Union # 9447-05. Gregory is survived by his adoring wife Sarah of Kevil, Ky., one son Brandon White of Kevil, Ky., two daughters Ashley McCann and her husband Chad of Paducah, Ky. and Camryn White of Kevil, Ky. Two grandaughters Madilynn McCann and Jaycee McCann. Three step children Trinity, Alex and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents Billy Gene and Peggy Jan (Skinner) White. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2017 after 10:30 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. with the Rev. Wes Morehead officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Bayou Baptist Church Cemetery.
