Harold E. Moore born in Cairo, Il. Jan 29, 1930 passed away January 17, 2016 at the age of 85. He resided at Life Care Center in LaCenter, Ky. where he received excellent care and the love of the staff family. The family deeply appreciates all of the staff to help make him feel his life made a difference. Harold had a love for aircraft and started flying at the age of 16. Flying high in the air gave him the feel of freedom to rise above the hustle and bustle of the mundane chaos below. Mr. Moore was and Engineer spending over 30 years with Hughes Aircraft in California. He was a phenomenal mechanic with a mechanical aptitude which his son Son Steve called him the "modern day McGyver." He was also well known with family and friends for his kind and caring personality and his willingness to help those trying to better themselves. He is preceded in death by his brothers Dr. James Moore and Thomas Moore. He leaves behind, Patricia his wife of 59 years; two sons, Jeffrey and Steve; Christi Marie Moore and Gavin, grandaughter and great-grandson. There will be no services.
