LACENTER, KY: Imogene Alexanger, age 94, of LaCenter, died at 4:00 A.M., September 6, 2015, at her home. She was saved at 13 years of age and was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Kevil, KY. During the World War II era, Imogene worked at Burkhart's in Cairo, IL manufacturing ammunition for the war effort and later after she was married, she worked at TeleService, Kevil, KY and assisted her husband, Sie, on their farm at Monkey's Eyebrow, KY. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Ette (Alexander) Meadors and her husband, Jim Meadors of Monkey's Eyebrow, KY. Two grandsons, Tim Meadors (Mary) of Glasgow, KY and Erik Meadors of Nashville, TN; two great grandchildren, Jordan Tyler Meadors of Cave City, KY and Meghan Michelle Meadors of Glasgow, KY; two step great grandchildren, Blake Hadley and Summar Hadley of Glasgow, KY; two step great-great grandsons, Noah Hadley and Matthew Lenhar of Glasgow, KY; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband, James Edward (Sie) Alexander and one brother, Aulton Freeman. Her parents were Elmer Freeman and Mary Holt Freeman. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter, KY with Bro. Bruce Watts and Bro. Neil Eidson officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Ballard County. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the funeral home.
