KEVIL,KY: Irma Lee Gibson , age 87, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 26, 2018 at Life Care Center of LaCenter. She was a member of Newton Creek Baptist Church. Irma was employed for several years at Magnavox Manufacturing. She was a homemaker for many years following that. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Kenneth Gibson of Kevil, KY; two sons, Travis (Michelle) Gibson of Kevil, and Brian (Ronda) Gibson of Kevil; one daughter, Melanie (Ray) Massie of Paducah, KY; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leatus and Edna Ruth Newbill Abernathy, two brothers and a sister, Visitation for Irma Gibson will be Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel of LaCenter. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rodney Cude and Rev. Wayne Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Newton Creek Baptist Cemetery.
