Kevil, Ky James Dale Bass, age 68, passed away on May 14, 2024 at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. He was born to his late parents, Carl and Hazel (Guess) Bass on October 18, 1955 in Bandana, KY.

James attended Providence Baptist Church. He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local # 184. James Loved to fish. He enjoyed camping at the game refuge with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Patty Bass of Kevil; two sons, James Kenneth Bass (Connie) of Kentucky , Jason Bass (Terra) of Lone Oak, KY; a daughter, Jessica Bass of LaCenter; two brothers, Steve Bass (Roberta) of Paducah, KY, Gary Bass (Reba) of Kevil, KY and a half brother, Eugene Waters; two sisters, Debbie Vinson (Jerry) of Kevil, KY and Betty Garrett (Jim) of LaCenter, KY and five grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Michael Bass and Timmy Bass and a baby sister, Carla Sue Bass.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 after 10:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with  Rev. Neil Eidson officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
