Kevil, Ky. James Erasmus Vaughn, age 78, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Life Care Center in LaCenter. James was an Army Veteran, he had been employed at Modine, Victor Engineering, and retired from Lowes. He was an Elderemeritus of LaCenter Christian Church. James is survived by his wife of 43 years Sara Shelby Vaughn of Kevil, one son James R. Vaughn, one daughter Sally Vaughn, one sister Ann Robertson and her husband Jere of Versailles, Kentucky, One sister in law Sue Vaughn of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Several Neices, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one infant son James E. Vaughn II, one brother George Vaughn, and his parents Rev. E. R. and Emma Bell Vaughn. Graveside Services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m at Woodville Cemetery with the Rev. Austin Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Woodville Cemetery.
