Kevil, KY 76 Jerry Richard Summers passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Mr. Summers was a long time Ballard County resident. Over the course of his career, he owned and operated various businesses serving the Ballard County community. Mr. Summers is survived by his six children: Dione Batts of Paducah, Michelle Qualls of LaCenter, Sarah Summers of West Paducah, Brooke Summers of Wickliffe, Tommy Summers and his wife Lori and Matt Summers of LaCenter. He is also survived by his greatest joy, his ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Mr. Summers was born in Dyer, TN to Sheldon and Wylodene Summers who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his three brothers and their wives: Pete and Mae Summers, Joe and Helen Summers, and Carl and Alma Summers. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at Morrow Funeral chapel in LaCenter with the Rev. Daniel Frasier officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Dyer, TN.
